I can’t be the only one who thought spring would never arrive this year. After last month’s back-to-back snowstorms and frigid temps, winter seemed destined to stay.
I’m happy to report, however, that spring is finally here! Need proof? Check out the gorgeous spring planters that now grace my front porch, courtesy of the pros at Enliven Planters.
As many of you know, I’m a huge fan of Enliven Planters (see the stunning winter arrangements they created for me here). Locally owned and operated, Enliven comes to your home each season to refill your planters and/or window boxes with artfully arranged fresh flowers and greenery. (Think of it as a seasonal subscription for your front porch!) Enliven sources all plant material from local growers and uses organic soil and fertilizer too. The company services the Main Line and beyond, from Center City to Bucks County.
Back to my front porch: After being so wowed by Enliven’s winter planters (which lasted for months by the way!), my expectations were fairly high. Yet somehow they managed to outdo themselves. These spring planters add the perfect pop of color to my front porch.

I happened to be home when Kelsey from Enliven arrived. She quickly got to work, carefully layering in elements and standing back periodically to assess and adjust her work. Kelsey assured me it’s not too late to sign up for spring flower deliveries or summer flowers, which seem to be their most popular season.
OK I know what you’re thinking: Beautiful planters but how much do they COST?!? Prices vary depending on the number and size of your window boxes and planters. (You can purchase planters through Enliven or use your own, like I did.) My planters are fairly large and cost $135 each, per season. Smaller planters start at $75 each. Enliven offers free, at-home design consultations to help you find a subscription option to suit your home, style, and budget.
