There were eleven single family homes that sold in Radnor Township in January 2017. The final selling prices of these single family homes ranged from $331,000 to $1,325,000. There were less than 100 homes available for sale in January, which made January one of the lowest months for inventory of available homes for sale. This is compared to last May when there were over 170 homes in Radnor Township available for sale.
Worth noting is that eight out of the eleven homes that sold in January in Radnor Township were located in Wayne. Wayne continues to be one of the most sought after towns along the Main Line due to it’s vibrant downtown, walkable neighborhoods and top-ranking schools.Walk toWayne addresses have some of the highest property valuations along the Main Line.

There are historically less homes that sell in January compared to the summer months and this January was no different. If we look back over the past twelve months, we see that in July of 2016, the highest month of sales, there were over 45 single family homes that sold.
The spring market has certainly started and the market seems to be buzzing with buyers. In some price ranges, there is a sense that buyers want to purchase sooner than later due to the fear of rising interest rates. You’ll also want to be prepared to make an offer quickly due to the fact that well-priced properties in desirable neighborhoods tend to sell fast.
